Christmas with FBC

From the end of the book of  Malachi to the first page of Matthew, the God of Israel left His children in ringing silence for 400 years. What broke that silence? A song. Several actually. For good reason. Jesus’ arrival into the world is the ultimate reason to sing with joy. His birth wasn’t just the end of silence but the beginning of God’s redemptive plan for humanity. Just as the angels couldn’t help but explode into the silence, declaring “Glory to God in the highest,” our hearts, too, can overflow with gratitude and celebration. Jesus is the reason for every carol, every joyful chorus, and every note of praise this season!
